Mrs. Perkins is thrilled to be returning for her second year teaching 1st grade at St. Louise! She graduated from Gonzaga University in 2006 with a B.A. in history as well as received her teaching certificate with an endorsement in reading. Mrs. Perkins taught initially in Eugene, Oregon and relocated back to her hometown in the summer of 2008. Mrs. Perkins is continuing her education by pursuing a Masters of Education in Literacy for Special Needs from Seattle University. She enjoys her program and loves learning new ideas to incorporate in her teaching. When not in the classroom as a teacher or student, Mrs. Perkins enjoys playing sports, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Chris and their extended family.
