Mr. Fitzpatrick began serving at St. Louise in 1988, and is proud of his long history with Catholic education. He attended a Catholic elementary school at “that other Catholic school” in Bellevue. His college choice was Catholic – Seattle University – where he met his wife, Arleen. Dan received both his BA and MA degrees at Seattle U., and his first teaching jobs were at Catholic schools - Assumption School in Seattle and Eastside Catholic High School. His daughter, Meghan, graduated from a Catholic elementary school (St. Brendan in Bothell), Catholic high school (Blanchet), and Catholic college (Gonzaga), and his son, Peter, graduated from a Catholic elementary school (St. Brendan), Catholic high school (Blanchet), and is now at college at Texas Christian University (not Catholic, but very close ☺).
“Mr. Fitz”, as he likes to be called, is well known for wearing crazy ties to school, cheering on the Mariners, and arriving to school before the sun rises.
Favorite Bible Verse:
"God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life in heaven. So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the going is rough for awhile down here." (1 Peter 1:4,6)
